Frequently Asked Questions What teams are we running 2020? Women’s teams in all grades CL1-SL4. Men’s teams in SL1-SL4, Junior boys and girls teams – depending on registrations. What are the dates? Senior comp starts March/April 2020 (HACT yet to confirm), Junior comp starts beginning Term 2 (Friday 1st May).  What are the costs? Fees page explains this…will be updated early in the new year. Where is hockey played? Based on 2019: Hook in2Hockey (U7 and U9) play Saturday mornings at Willows, U11 play Saturday mornings at Willows, U13 and U18 play Sunday mornings at Lyneham and Tuggeranong, U15 play Friday nights at Lyneham and Tuggeranong.  What gear do I need? Hockey stick, shin pads, mouthguard, uniform: playing shirt, skirt/shorts and socks. What sort of commitment is required? To be available for as many games and training sessions as possible. How are the teams selected? Senior grading day held in Feb 2020 (TBC). Juniors mostly play in their age groups. Juniors how do age divisions work? To be eligible to play in U11, a junior player must be under 11 years old on the 1st January in the year of the competition. More information on juniors Who do I contact with questions? Senior training Tuesday and Thursday evenings (team slots TBC), Junior training depends on team. What social events do we offer Trivia nights, Presentation Night  What is the club culture, why would I want to join NCE We cater for competitive as well as social players, provide opportunities to be involved in the hockey community as a player, coach, manager, umpire, mentor or committee member.
