North Canberra Eagles (NCE) Fees policy – 2024
The club operates on a not for profit basis and fees are worked out each year based on what it costs to enter a team into the ACT Hockey competition including club administrative costs. Players who have committed to play for NCE for the upcoming season will be invoiced by the treasurer in March/April of that year.
To enable the club to pay ACT Hockey on time, players are required to pay their fees, in full, by 30 June each year. Instalment options are available to players where they can credit the club’s bank account directly to pay off their fees at regular intervals.
If a player is having trouble paying their fees an arrangement can be made by contacting the treasurer (northcanberraeagles.treasurer@gmail.com) or the President (northcanberraeagles@gmail.com).
Note: Similar to last season, each member will be required to pay the Hockey Australia levy at the point of registration online. This will insure the player from 1 Jan—31st Dec 2024.
New levy costs from 2024 will be:
• Seniors (19 and over as of 31 Dec 2023) $57.31
• Juniors (18 and under as of 31 Dec 2023) $45.31
• Non Playing Members (Coaches, Umpires, Team Officials) $0.00
Any players registered for Hookin2Hockey and wish to start in the HACT Competitions must upgrade to a Junior Player Levy prior to their first competition match.
